    EZID scheduled maintenance update: November 12 

    UPDATE: 6:39am Pacific Time. Maintenance is complete and EZID is back up. Thank you for your patience. Please alert ezid@ucop.edu if you experience any issues with your identifiers.

    EZID’s scheduled maintenance for November 12 is taking longer than expected. The service remains unavailable while we complete the maintenance upgrade. We will post here when the service is back up.

    Upcoming DataCite outage 

    DataCite will have a maintenance this Saturday, December 15 from 09:00 GMT to 17:00 GMT. That’s 04:00-12:00 EST, and 01:00-09:00 PST. This maintenance should have no impact on EZID users, except that DOIs registered during the maintenance period may not resolve until after the maintenance is complete.

    EZID maintenance Sunday Sept. 30 08:00 PT 

    We’re planning for EZID maintenance during the regular EZID maintenance period from 08:00 until 09:00 PT on Sunday Sept 30. There may be a brief outage lasting only a few minutes, or if things don’t go as planned, for a longer part of the hour. If things don’t go at all as planned, we’ll restore the system and have it working again by 09:00 PT.

    AWS issues resolved 

    The problems have been resolved and EZID is operating normally again.
